During the June 2nd election day, former president Felipe Calderón used his account on the social network X to post and share messages about alleged irregularities before and during the counting of the Preliminary Electoral Results Program (Prep) by the National Electoral Institute (INE).

In several of these messages, Calderón questioned the vote counting in Mexico City and some polling stations whose results were shared by users on their social networks.

He also criticized the delays of the INE and asserted that the vote count would be challenging.
