President Andrés Manuel López Obrador concluded in Nayarit his weekend of supervision of the public health system, which is expected to function at one hundred percent before his six-year term ends in September.
Through his social networks, the head of the Executive reported that this week he visited 12 entities: Hidalgo, Morelos, Colima, Michoacán, Zacatecas, San Luis Potosí, State of Mexico, Mexico City, Baja California, Sonora, Sinaloa and Nayarit.
Advances in the health system
During his supervision, AMLO highlighted the advances in infrastructure and health services in the 12 entities visited. The initiative seeks to ensure that hospitals and health centers operate at full capacity and efficiency before the end of their administration.
The president highlighted the importance of these tours to directly evaluate the conditions and needs of the health system in each state.
