Sheinbaum’s Gratitude and Commitment
In a press conference, Sheinbaum thanked the gestures of Xóchitl Gálvez and Jorge Álvarez Máynez, who contacted her by telephone to recognize her victory, despite previous criticism of the electoral authorities.
“The difference for the presidency of the republic is more than 30 points, according to the preliminary results of the National Electoral Institute,” Sheinbaum emphasized.
“I thank the millions of Mexican men and women who decided to vote for us on this historic day to advance with the fourth transformation.”
Sheinbaum reaffirmed her commitment to seeking unity and peace, even with those who do not share her political vision, and highlighted her intention to consolidate the projects initiated by President Andrés Manuel López Obrador during her presidential campaign.
Likewise, she thanked President López Obrador for congratulating her by call and on social networks for her resounding victory, according to the INE Quick Count data.
