Jorge Álvarez Máynez, presidential candidate of Movimiento Ciudadano (MC), called on the Electoral Tribunal of the Judicial Branch of the Federation (TEPJF) to guarantee transparency and certainty in the next electoral process, avoiding last-minute decisions that could affect the candidate participation.

In a meeting with the National Confederation of University Workers (Contu), Álvarez Máynez stated that the TEPJF has made arbitrary decisions that have excluded some candidates for trivial reasons.
“I want to ask the court to allow us to have certainty now. I call for the Court to stop manipulating the election with last-minute resolutions.
We have problems with the issue of Campeche, with the issue of Acapulco, they continue trying to remove candidates for frivolous issues from the PRI and Morena,” said Álvarez Máynez.

Concern about the electoral ban
Álvarez Máynez also expressed his concern about a possible plan by the opposition to violate the electoral ban and continue the dirty war against him.
The MC candidate called on the electoral authorities to remain vigilant and ensure a clean and fair process.
In this context, he criticized Alejandra del Moral’s recent resignation from the PRI and her adherence to Claudia Sheinbaum Pardo’s campaign.
Álvarez Máynez pointed out that this action is an example of the links between the PRI and Morena, and warned that the PRI could become a satellite party of Morena, similar to the Green Party.

The presidential candidate stressed the importance of allowing all candidates to participate and for the citizens to decide at the polls.
“The truth is that it seems the healthiest thing to me,” concluded Álvarez Máynez, highlighting the need to maintain the integrity of the electoral process and ensure that the popular will is respected.
